Happy New Year !!
First bake of the year for the one who made me a mom! 💖 advanced celebration for her since we have some plans for actual day which I might not be able to decorate the house and bake.

Have not been baking much these days. But it’s been raining for days and I couldn’t make a trip to Johan bakery to get a dairy-free cake for her so decided to bake a simple Swiss roll recipe from @phay_shing blog post here

I cut the Swiss roll into 3 parts and stacked it up 😅 to form a cloud shape. 🙈which I think it’s not very obvious. Then cover the “cloud” cake with more @orasi_asia rice whipping cream and sprinkle with lots of confetti candy balls.

We really love the cake texture! It’s spongy soft, smooth and goes perfectly well with the rice whipped cream 👍🏻
