Dairy-Free Buttercream Mylk Bread

It’s no secret that I love bread and buns. It’s probably because my papa loves it and very often got breads and buns for us whenever he came home. One of my favorite bread when I was in secondary school was buttercream bread! I was chatting with my mama about it and she complained that the price has gone up again. 😅

Here’s my version of dairy-free buttercream mylk bread with the leftover Gula melaka Swiss meringue buttercream I made for Pandan cake the other day 😊

So happy that my kids love it too and enjoyed piping cream on their own buns. Lex even ate two buns for breakfast in the morning. ☺️ nothing more satisfying than watching your loved ones munching down your bakes/cooks 💖💖💖

Just noticed that I have not shared any mylk buns recipe in this blog yet. However, you may use any soft mylk buns recipe and shape it to long buns. We then sliced off the middle with serrated knife at an angle from two sides forming a crevice for the cream.

It’s so delicious and do try it!
