Lex was supposed to be spending his birthday in quarantine hotel as he was scheduled to fly on last Saturday. However, due to issue with his flight ticket, he had to postpone it till coming Saturday 😅 blessing in disguise 🥳he gets to spend his birthday with us! 💖🥰

I wasn’t prepared to bake any cake for him since he was already determined to go last Saturday 🤪 as cake is definitely not my forte, I had to find a simple sponge cake recipe made with the help of thermomix. Also bought canned peaches , Cakemate writing gel and @orasi_asia rice whipping cream to just decorate the cake with kids.

Kids are overjoyed that they are able to have an extra week with their papa, celebrated his birthday and having fun deco time for the cake , prepared a helium balloon and even made a card for their papa (with their aunt’s help) .

Also got to bring the hub for a brunch at @bachacoffeeofficial at ION orchard after sending the kids to school. 😘 can’t believe there’s a queue even at 10.30am on weekday 😅 we think it’s worth a visit for coffee lovers as the coffee selections are huge !
