Been making kimchi pancake a few times now coz it’s easy to prepare and so delicious! Love that sour taste and the crisp! 😋 even my 3 years old had some and said she likes it 😅
We use @maangchi recipe with our store bought kimchi.
Ingredients:
225g chopped kimchi @jonggausa
3 chopped scallions
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup plain flour
1/3 cup water
Some oils for frying
Steps:
1. In a bowl, add chopped all ingredients and mix well.
2. Prepare a non-stick frying pan, heat up some oil.
3. Add the pancake batter into the 12 inch non-stick frying pan and spread it flat with a spatula.
4. Cook the batter with medium heat for 3-5 Minutes until golden brown and crisp
5. Turn the pancake over to cook another side. Add oil to the bottom by drizzling the oil at the side and lift up the side to allow the oil to flow to the center. Cook for another 3-5 minutes
6. Flip it once again to cook for another minute. Slide out and serve immediately
