Bought this cake mold for our Miffy Bruno Grill sand maker and have been looking for recipes to use with this mold 😬
This is our first attempt and not quite a success. As it’s too soft to hold the shape. Nonetheless, girls love it and wiped out all 8 mini cakes. ☺️ even the picky eater ate 2 to 3 pieces ! 💖 it’s soft and not to sweet. Perfect for their afternoon snacks.
I’ve modified this recipe from a kueh bahulu recipe.
Ingredients :
1 egg
30g self raising flour (sifted)
20g caster sugar
1/8 tsp vanilla paste
Some vegetable oil for coating the mold
Steps:
– beat egg with sugar and vanilla paste till pale and fluffy
– gently fold in flour
– pour batter into piping bag
– heat up oiled mold for 1-2 mins
– pipe in batter on the mold
– cook for 2 mins , flipped and cook for another 1min
– pick the cake out using toothpick/skewer
