We used to buy local made kids’ pasta sauce. It’s quite costly but the kids love it! And it’s savior for preparing kids’ meals. Yes.. I eat instant noodles at times but kids have gotta eat clean as much as possible😅 We do order takeout for some meals too just to give the helper some break from cooking.
After chatting with my friend about how expensive it is, she shared a recipe with me and with some adjustments to the ingredients, last month we started making our own vegetable pasta sauce with thermomix. Happy that Kids like it ☺️ the last batch lasted for almost a month (we froze it) but I forgot to note down the exact recipe 😅 so this time I made it again but they turn out different from the last batch. 🤣 probably because I added more onion and capsicum to this batch. We didn’t add any salt as we will add salt when cooking the sauce with pasta.
It’s super convenient to prepare this using thermomix as Cooking and blending all done in one mixing bowl! 😊 We portioned and froze sauces in glass containers once it’s cooled. Thaw overnight in fridge to use.
