Thinking after infiniti 0.9 equals to 1

I recently come across a video proofing about infiti 0.9 equals to 1, in which i couldn not say agree or not to agree. I feel there is something missing in this.

That leads me to keep thinking.

We all knows that speed of light is 299792458 m/s (by google)

so if we can travel at the speed of the 299,792,457.9999…

Does it means we are traveling at the speed of light?

So, what happends if we start travel when someone shine a torch light at the same time (assume that will not loss brightness over time), right now we are parallel to the beam of light.

What happens when we turn around and look at beam of light? Is that still fly ahead of us or we are really side by side?

I understand that in terms of maths, 0.9 infiniti means 1. How about in physics? Is the equation still holds?

This question just pop out when I’m watch the proving videos. Just out of curious anyway. If anyone has any ans don’t hesitate to leave me any comments. Thx.
